One of my favorite daily routines is using this resource. I love this way to greet my students at the door in the morning or in the afternoon. I consider that greeting every student builds classroom community, student rapport, and connections, but giving them the possibility to choose between a handshake, fist bump, or a high five is a wonderful way to start off their day.
